Follow biosecurity instructions
Disease prevention protects the farm and every buyer. You may be asked not to touch water or equipment, to disinfect footwear, or to avoid visiting multiple facilities in a risky order. Follow the host's instructions even when another farm used different rules.
Bring a useful buying brief
A farm can respond more effectively when you share your pond size, experience, desired varieties and realistic budget. Photograph labels and confirm the identity of any reserved koi before leaving.
